We are 4 days into the 99 Day Fitness Challenge..
Some people think it's getting easier, some think it's harder.
What are you focusing on? Are you focusing on the possibility? Try focusing on what works!
7 FAT Loss Tips that Work:
- Help from your friends, family, buddies.
Healthy eating and exercise regiments can be tough to do on your own. GET SUPPORT! Find a buddy to walk with or join you at the gym. Compare grocery lists with a co-worker who is also eating healthy. Swap healthy recipes with friends. - Journal, journal, journal.
Writing down your daily diet is one of the best ways to stay on track. Even if you're too crunched for time to record every calorie, fat gram, etc., just writing a little description of each meal and snack can make a big difference. Write as you eat it - not at the end of the day. - Everything counts.
Even if you can't get a full workout in one day, you can always squeeze something in. Go for a few calf raises while waiting in line at the store -- or get a longer walk in with the dog before dinner. Walk around your place of business during lunch, do chair squats while watching your favorite TV program, or do bicep curls with gallons of water while you wait for the microwave to finish heating your lunch. - Be prepared.
A well stocked kitchen cabinet and refrigerator is the "KEY to success", so write a list and stick to it. Make sure to consider all your snacking and mealtime emergencies. Make a list of all your tough-eating scenarios and plan accordingly. Keep an abundance of fruit and veggies along with lean sources of protein available for quick grab and go situations. - Fun.
Add some FUN to your plan so you will stick to it. Boring gets old fast. Find great new recipes to try out. If running doesn't do it for you, try dancing. You can also take power-walks through the mall, try a new sport, hula hoop, take up bootcamp, go cycling, etc. Whatever gets you moving – Just do it. If you would like to try bootcamp go to: www.tilttotaltraining.com/bootcamp.html - Reminders.
Buy yourself a calendar and fill it with activities. Schedule workouts. If they're written in your calendar, you'll be more likely to do them. - Forgive, don't forget!
If you slip up and miss a day of exercise or accidentally overeat in one sitting, don't beat yourself up about it. Acknowledge where you went wrong so you don't repeat your mistakes. Just get back on track. Don’t dwell on the mistakes. Be patient with yourself while you figure out what works. Live, Learn and Be Fit!
Thank you and have a happy and healthy outlook on the next 95 days!
