OK- I hope this blog finds you well, because I am pissed off!

I am fairly out spoken in my views of the world, especially when it comes to health and fitness; but this week has sent me to the MOON and back with the following...

Carson Kressley Teaches Women to 'Look Good Naked'

From the title alone, you get the wrong impression. I am utterly speechless, which is not common for me!

This show basically is sending a message that it is OK to be FAT as HELL! , I mean OBESE!

The new Friday-night weekly series promotes itself as a salve to reduce women's self-loathing, featuring women critical of their own bodies. Drawing the ire of National Action Against Obesity is "How to Look Good Naked's" emphasis on "obesity as beautiful" and the dangerous denial of compromised health due to obesity. --

If you watched the show, then you know what I mean. I am glued to the TV watching this show every week because of the things that I hear coming out of Carson's mouth. I am totally on board for loving yourself, treating people with respect and seeing a persons inner beauty and having the confidence to shake off the poor me attitude that many heavy woman have.

However, they are going about this the wrong way. This show is basically sending a message to American woman that being a size 18-20 is NOT THAT BAD! Are you on CRACK!, Yes that is the national average, but it is not something to be happy about...

Can't anyone see that if we continue to do this, and go down this path, we will destroy everything.

According to the obesity survey that was recently done, we as a country are going down the wrong path. Our waist sizes are getting larger by the year. With NO end in site, physicians predict that there will be a DEATH boom related to obesity and increased health care cost beyond our wildest imaginations

This TV show claims that Models and TV shows portray non-reality and that the common public is not that healthy and beautiful , but they can help brain wash you into thinking that you are healthy beautiful and make yourself think you look great wearing a shower curtain as a dress.

Here is the deal: If you want to feel good about yourself.

  • Turn off the TV
  • Stop buying the magazines that make you feel bad about yourself
  • Join a support group that will get your in the right direction
  • Become an expert on how to change your life buy learning from a specialist in training and nutrition
  • Change your mind first, then the image you have of yourself will follow.(If you have a FAT image of yourself then you will be fatter. If you see yourself as hot and sexy then eventually it will happen.) BUT, simply thinking good thought is not all it takes to get out of that meat suit you are carrying around with you.
  • TAKE ACTION!
  • Go on a healthy diet,
  • Start working out,
  • Feel good about yourself, The fat will come off, I promise!
  • Find an expert trainer to help you who knows about your issues, Get involved at a good gym and GO!

I am so EXCITED to give you the best NEWS!

Do you remember the holiday blog I sent you?

Well, It worked and better than I thought!

I not only lost a pound but I lost 2 pounds over the holiday stretch between Xmas and Jan 3rd.

I am jumping out of my skin to keep you in the loop on my progress.

How did I do it you might ask?

I performed three things: Drink more water before meals, and do 20 push-ups and 50 squats before each meal, no less than 3x per day!

OK, I admit I think I went to the gym once on the 29th to run on the treadmill for 20 minutes, but I really did not do much except for what I told you and

my STRENGTH in my chest and legs is OUTRAGEOUS!

That is my update. 

It's like striking GOLD

If this EASY to do Plan for the holiday season was followed you would get the same results or BETTER!

 

I will provide more in-depth workout info soon to help fight off weight gain and start your New Year off right!

I am sick and tired

I have to use this blog to vent once in a while.

I am sick and tired of getting emails and seeing news reports on the top 10 things to do for your New Years resolutions!

I wasn't aware of it until I was watching the biggest loser the other day.

Do you realize Doctors are still telling people to just park farther away or take the stairs to help lose a few pounds.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

Some of these doctors need a rude awakening.

For many people it takes a lot more than taking the stairs or parking far away from the store so you have to walk just to lose a pound in 5 weeks.

If you really want to get your ass in shape then START A TRAINING PROGRAM.

Don't waste another year thinking that it will somehow melt off by not taking the elevator.

If you have serious pounds to lose, somewhere between 50-100 pounds. I'm hear to tell you , that you can do it!

I did it.. It wasn't easy either. I know what you are going through.

I've been there!

I USED TO BE 337 lbs. and 47.5% bodyfat!

It is a BATTLE. But you can WIN, in as little as 3-6 months you can see HUGE differences.

I lost over 100 lbs of fat and redistributed my body composition in as little as 1-year, and

YOU can do it too!

I'm not here to tell you that it will come off with just 3 balanced meals and 3 x 20 min cardio session/week, because THAT'S BULL!

Did you manage to lose a pound?

Happy New Year!

Tomorrow the big day to see if I managed to keep the pounds from creeping up on me this holiday season.
I did exactly what I needed to do, just as I stated in my last entry before christmas.

I feel great!

Can't wait to post what happened for me over the holidays.
