Tibetan Trail Mix

Description:
  • This is a powerful snack filled with antioxidants and vitamins, +plus it tastes unbelievable
 
Ingredients:
  • Organic Almonds - 1/2 lb
  • Organic Walnuts - 1/2 lb
  • Organic Sesame Seeds - 1/2 cup
  • Organic Flax Seeds - 1/2 cup
  • Organic Gogi Berries - 2 cups
  • Organic Cocoa Chunk or Shaved Powder (this is not Hershey's Coco) - 1 cup
  • Organic Powdered Cinnamon - 1 tspn
  • Organic powdered Ginger - 1 tspn
  • Organic Stevia Powder - 1 tblspn
  • Organic Virgin Coconut Oil - 2 tblspns melted
Preparation:
  • Preheat oven at 350
  • Mix Ingredients together except for the Cinnamon and ginger and bake at 350 for 10 minutes for a wonderfully powerful snack, filled with the necessary macro nutrients, antioxidants for good health and fat fighting

Claim your power back, you are deserving of everything you want in life.
 
Do you make excuses about your diet and exercise routines and why you did not do it today?
 
Make a list of reasons why you are not doing the things you can be doing to improve your fitness and get you in the direction of your goals.
Then think about how you can change the way you think about those reasons.
 
Do you really have no time to workout?
Do you really not know how to eat right?
Do you really not know where to find help?

Is beef a superfood?

Hi there-

I have read a lot about superfoods lately.

This one might be the strangest to you but not to me.

I was reading one of my blogs subscriptions and I came across a fitness
related article on an article titled "The 10 NEW Superfoods for Women."

I heard about this article from my fellow blogger, Kevin Gianni

I love hearing about new superfoods, so I continued to read on.
Do you know what was first on the list?

"Beef."

You got that right!, good old, heart-stopping red meat.

Here is what Kevin had to say...

"As people are dying of heart disease by the hundreds of thousands, good
natured nutritionists, doctors and media outlets are still recommending red
meat 2-3 times a week.

Not spinach or broccoli or cherries... those superfoods aren't hip anymore.
I guess the list has gotten short enough to call up the average foods to the
big leagues and give them a swing for the fences.

This is an serious issue in our information age.

Navigating the media messages is a challenge we all have to face. We not
only hear messages from the TV and radio or read them in magazines or
online, but we also get them second hand and piecemeal from friends and
family members.

Sort of like the telephone game we used to play in kindergarten, where
everyone sits in a circle and whispers a message in the next person's ear
to--humorously--hear what the sentence has become once it's gone around the
room.

This is not how our health information should be distributed. It is
dangerous. But this type of transmission teaches us a very important
lesson.

Be wary of ANY health information you get.
